Welcome to the Jeremy Pineres Law LLC (“JP LAW”) website. Please read the following Privacy Policy closely before using, submitting or obtaining any content or services through the JP LAW websites (“the Web Sites”). This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) is intended to help you understand how we collect and use the personal information you decide to share, and help you make informed decisions when using the Web Sites.
By using or accessing the Web Sites and providing us with your Personal Information (as defined below), you are accepting the practices and consent to our use of such as described in this Policy.

1. What information does JP LAW collect?

When you visit the Web Sites, you have the option to provide us with two types of information: Intake Information you knowingly choose to disclose to us by through the “Contact Us” webpage and/or forms, or website use information collected by us as you interact with the Web Sites (“Automatically Collected Information”)(collectively, “Personal Information”).

1.1. You can submit to JP LAW certain information, including but not limited to, your name, address, email address, telephone and cellular phone numbers, description of the incident and date of the incident (collectively, “Intake Information”). You may always refuse to provide your Intake Information. Information submitted  does not constitute nor create an attorney-client relationship and will not be used by Jeremy Pineres Law LLC, except as disclosed in this Policy and to provide Services should an attorney-client relationship be entered into at a later date.

1.2. We and/or our third-party service providers may use certain data collection technologies such as cookies, web beacons (also known as pixels or pixel tags), heat mapping, session tracking, and/or other similar technologies which automatically collect certain information (such as your IP address, location, browsing history, viewing history, and browser type) across your various devices about you and your listens, visits to this and other websites, mobile websites and/or mobile applications (“Automatically Collected Information”). Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers and stores on a visitor’s personal computer in order to store information about the visitor’s preferences, which such website can later retrieve. We may use cookies for certain limited purposes such as storing your preferences so that you do not have to input it each time you use the Web Sites.  These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. The information collected through cookies or web beacons may be used and shared with our selected partners to provide you with content and advertisements about goods and services of interest to you (across those various devices) to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and to better understand the Web Site activity and related services.

1.2.1. The Help toolbar on most browsers will instruct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. If your browser is set to not accept any cookies, you may not be able to use, view, or utilize full functionality of the Web Sites. 1.3. Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics on the Web Sites to help us analyze the traffic on the Web Sites. 1.4. Meta Pixel. We use Meta Pixel Tags to better measure, optimize, and retarget our marketing campaigns. 2. Use of Personal Information.

2.1. JP LAW may also use Personal Information in the following ways:

> Administrative Communications. We may send you important administrative or other information regarding Services or the Web Sites. This information may be important to you, so you may not “opt out” of receiving these communications.

> Request Response. We process Personal Information to comply with your requests, respond to inquiries, and send newsletters, publications, or other correspondences that you request. If you contact us by email through the Web Sites, we may keep a record of your contact information and correspondence and use it to respond to you or otherwise contact you.

> Other Communications. We may use Personal Information about you to send you our legal updates and mailings relating to JP LAW or seminars, public service announcements or other events and meaningful news that we think may be of interest to you, in accordance with applicable law. If you no longer wish to receive such mailings from us, please refer to the paragraph below, headed “Contacting Us.” 

> Internal Business Purposes. We may use Personal Information about you for our internal business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, security of the Web Site, and other similar purposes.

> Services. We may use Personal Information for the purposes of providing legal and related services (“Services”) in the event that an attorney-client relationship is entered into with you.

2.2. If you do provide JP LAW with Personal Information, JP LAW will only use it for the purposes described where it is collected or to aggregate data in a manner that does not identify you, and JP LAW will not sell, license, transmit or disclose this information outside of JP LAW or its affiliates unless:

> Service Providers & Contractors. We may share your Personal Information with service providers and contractors to perform tasks on our behalf and to assist us in providing our Services, including but not limited to internal and business operations, security, payment processing, identity verification, and related services.

> Advertising Partners. We may share your Personal Information with third-party advertising partners, such as but not limited to, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Microsoft and Google Display Advertising and other similar services. These advertising partners may use first- and third-party cookies together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to the Web Sites. You can opt out of these services using the Ads Preferences Manager or you can use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These advertising partners may use this information (and similar information collected from other services) for purposes of delivering personalized advertisements to you when you visit digital properties within their networks, commonly referred to as “interest-based advertising.”

> Authorized Representatives. If another individual is managing your account or providing information on your behalf (for example, a father managing the account of his child), we may share your Personal Information as authorized by you or as a personal representative under applicable law.

> Other Disclosures. We may disclose your Personal Information if we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such information is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements with you, including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to our, your, or third parties’ rights, property, or safety.

> With your Consent. We may disclose your Personal Information as you expressly authorize JP LAW or an affiliate to do so.

3. Links

The Web Sites contains links to other websites that are owned and operated by third parties, including websites used for shopping cart and payment functionality. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites or for the collection or use of your Personal Information at any third party sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of any third party site you visit. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by this Web Site. Therefore, we disclaim any liability for any third party’s use of your Personal Information obtained through using a third party website.

4. Changing or Removing Information

If you have any questions about updating, modifying or deleting your Personal Information provided to us, please use the Contact form here to inform us of your request.

5. E-mail Communications

When you send an email to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You thereby consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the Web Sites. All agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
